Chemistry Teacher

Position: Chemistry Teacher
Start Date: January 2025

Contract: Full-time, Permanent 

About the Role:

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and passionate Chemistry Teacher to join our partnership Secondary School in January 2025. This role involves teaching Chemistry at the GCSE level, fostering a love for the subject, and inspiring academic excellence. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and comprehensive lessons, assessing student progress, and contributing to the overall development of the students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Chemistry lessons at the GCSE level.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and teaching practices.
  • Participate in school events and extracurricular activities.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching Chemistry at the secondary level.
  • Strong subject knowledge in Chemistry.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.

The salary for this position will be paid to scale, ensuring competitive and fair compensation based on experience and qualifications.
