Challenging Behaviour Support Assistant – Hull
Make a Difference with Teaching Personnel

Are you passionate about supporting young people with challenging behaviour? Teaching Personnel is looking for a resilient and compassionate individual to work as a Challenging Behaviour Support Assistant in Hull.

The Role:

  • Work 1:1 or in small groups with students who require additional behavioural support.
  • Support students with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs, autism, or behavioural difficulties.
  • Implement behaviour management strategies to promote engagement and positive learning experiences.
  • Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral teams to create a supportive learning environment.

What We’re Looking For:

✔ Experience in working with challenging behaviour (schools, youth work, care, or similar settings).
✔ Strong communication and de-escalation skills.
✔ A calm, patient, and resilient approach to supporting students.
✔ An understanding of trauma-informed practices (desirable but not essential).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
