Breakfast Club Teaching Assistant
Location: Burnley
Hours: 7am – 8.45am – Term Time Only
Salary: £13.72 per hour

Are you passionate about working with children and creating a positive start to their school day? We are looking for a Breakfast Club Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team!

About the Role:

As a Breakfast Club Teaching Assistant, you will help create a warm and welcoming environment where children can enjoy a healthy breakfast, engage in fun activities, and prepare for their school day. You will supervise and support pupils, ensuring their well-being and promoting positive interactions.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Supervising and engaging with children during breakfast time
✅ Encouraging positive social interactions and good table manners
✅ Leading fun and stimulating activities before school starts
✅ Ensuring the safety and well-being of all children in the club
✅ Supporting a smooth transition from breakfast club to the classroom

What We’re Looking For:

✔️ Experience working with children (in a school or childcare setting preferred)
✔️ A friendly, caring, and patient approach
✔️ Strong communication and teamwork skills
✔️ A commitment to safeguarding and promoting children’s welfare
✔️ First Aid and Food Hygiene certificates (or willingness to obtain)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
