The ideal candidate will have experience in managing behaviour and possess the resilience, understanding, and patience necessary to work with children who may have faced trauma or adverse experiences. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored behavioural and emotional support to students with additional needs.
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with students to encourage engagement and learning.
  • Implement effective behaviour management strategies to support students in achieving their potential.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff and other professionals to ensure students receive the appropriate care and support.
  • Create a safe, inclusive environment where students feel comfortable and valued.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children with special educational needs and/or managing challenging behaviour.
  • A resilient, empathetic, and nurturing approach.
  • The ability to remain calm and patient in challenging situations.
