What We’re Looking For:
- Compassionate and Understanding: A genuine passion for working with students facing social, emotional, and mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and suicidal tendencies.
- Trauma-Informed Approach: Understanding or willingness to learn trauma-informed practices, focusing on creating a safe, supportive environment for students.
- Calm and Adaptable: Ability to remain calm under pressure and adjust to the emotional and academic needs of each student.
- Team Player: Strong collaboration and communication skills, working effectively with colleagues, mental health specialists, and families.
- Experience or Eagerness to Learn: Previous experience in education, mental health, or care settings is valuable, but we welcome candidates eager to learn and grow in the role.
Why Join Us?
- Small Class Sizes: Work in a quiet, calm setting with small classes, allowing for focused, one-on-one support.
- Trauma-Informed School: Be part of a team that prioritises the emotional well-being of students.
- Supportive Environment: Join a close-knit, caring community that values each team member's contribution to student well-being and success.
