Behaviour Support Mentor – Primary School (Croxeth, L11)

We are seeking a Behaviour Support Mentor to join a vibrant primary school in Croxeth (L11), starting in November on a temporary-to-permanent basis through Teaching Personnel.

Your Role:

As a Behaviour Support Mentor, you will play a key role in promoting positive behaviour across the school. Working closely with teachers and support staff, you will help create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where all pupils feel valued and supported. This will include:

  • Supporting pupils with behavioural challenges on a 1:1 or small group basis.
  • Developing tailored behaviour plans and strategies.
  • Building strong relationships with pupils to boost self-esteem and motivation.
  • Helping to maintain a calm and productive classroom environment.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience in a similar role (or outside of education).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A positive and patient approach to managing behaviour.
  • Passionate about helping children succeed.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
