Behaviour Support Specialist – Full-Time Teaching Assistant (Immediate Start)

Join a dedicated team in Leigh as a Behaviour Support Specialist, where you’ll help create a positive learning environment for students with behavioral challenges. Teaching Personnel is looking for a full-time Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant to start as soon as possible for a temporary role. 

This role suits recent graduates of psychology, sports coaches and graduates and anyone who is confident with a proactive work ethic.

Role Details:

• Full-time Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant role in a primary setting
• Immediate start with potential for a January option
• Temporary contract with strong prospects for permanence based on performance

Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one and small-group support to students requiring behavioral interventions
• Implement strategies to manage challenging behaviors and promote positive interactions
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to create an inclusive classroom environment that encourages all students to succeed

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
