Role Overview:
As a Behaviour Mentor, you will play a crucial role in promoting positive behaviour and supporting students with their emotional and social development. You will work closely with students, staff, and parents to create tailored strategies that encourage engagement, resilience, and academic achievement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and group mentoring to students facing behavioural challenges.
- Develop and implement behaviour management plans in collaboration with teaching staff.
- Foster a positive school culture by promoting respect, responsibility, and resilience.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing feedback and support as needed.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and external agencies to ensure a holistic approach to student wellbeing.
- Lead workshops and interventions focused on social skills, anger management, and emotional regulation.
What We’re Looking For:
- A compassionate individual with experience working with young people in an educational or support setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build rapport and trust with students.
- Knowledge of behaviour management strategies and techniques.
- A proactive and flexible approach to problem-solving.
- Relevant qualifications in education, psychology, or social work are desirable but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
