Behaviour Mentor
Job description
A specialist SEMH school in Hailsham is looking to appoint a confident, compassionate Behaviour Mentor to support young people who have experienced trauma, exclusion, or disrupted learning. The school provides a structured and supportive setting for students to rebuild trust and gain confidence in their education.
Main Duties:

Provide behaviour-focused support to students in class and during unstructured times

Encourage positive routines and appropriate responses to challenge or frustration
-
Implement personalised strategies alongside the SEN and pastoral team
-
Support reintegration into academic learning and social settings
Who should apply?

Candidates with experience in SEMH, PRU, youth justice or care settings

Emotionally intelligent individuals who can stay calm and consistent

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
