We are seeking a dedicated Behaviour Learning Mentor to join our team at a thriving secondary school in Northamptonshire.

As a Behaviour Learning Mentor, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of our students, boosting their confidence, nurturing their personal growth, and inspiring a love of learning.
A Behaviour Mentor plays a crucial role in supporting students who face behavioural challenges. They work with students individually or in groups to address behavioural issues and promote positive behaviour. By developing and implementing effective behaviour management strategies, they help students manage their behaviour more effectively. Collaboration with teachers is essential to create a supportive learning environment and ensure consistent behaviour management across the school. Behaviour Mentors also monitor students' progress, providing feedback to students, teachers, and parents. They liaise with parents and external agencies to offer comprehensive support for students. Additionally, they foster a culture of respect, inclusion, and high expectations within the school. Behaviour Mentors are essential in helping students overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.

Requirements
Successful applicants will undergo a satisfactory reference check and must possess an up-to-date DBS or be willing to apply for one through Teaching Personnel

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
