We are seeking an outstanding leader to join our Senior Leadership Team, contributing to our vision of creating a safe, inclusive, and aspirational school culture for all.

The Role

As Assistant Principal of Culture and Safeguarding, you will:

• Lead and embed a positive school culture that promotes high standards of behaviour, inclusivity, and mutual respect.
• Take strategic responsibility for safeguarding, ensuring that all policies, procedures, and practices comply with statutory requirements and reflect best practice.
• Support staff in delivering high-quality pastoral care and ensure students feel safe, supported, and valued.
• Work collaboratively with the leadership team to implement and monitor whole-school initiatives that enhance the student experience.
• Build strong partnerships with families, external agencies, and the wider community to ensure all students thrive.
• Lead on training and development for staff around safeguarding and culture, fostering a proactive and informed school-wide approach.

About You

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced leader who:

• Has a proven track record of leadership in a school setting, with a strong focus on safeguarding, student welfare, and culture.
• Demonstrates exceptional knowledge of safeguarding legislation and practice, alongside a genuine passion for student well-being.
• Is skilled at building relationships, inspiring colleagues, and communicating effectively with a range of stakeholders.
• Thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is committed to continuous improvement.
• Holds a recognised teaching qualification and can model outstanding practice in the classroom when required.
