Admin Assistant Advert – Immediate Start
Teaching Personnel is supporting a Secondary School in Preston with their recruitment for an Admin Assistant to support in the front office on a ful-time basis. This position is required ASAP and will continue until the school successfully recruits for this role on a permanent basis. However, for the right candidate, there may be an option for a temporary-to-permanent placement.
This school is situated in a friendly and welcoming community with excellent transport links from nearby areas. Responsibilities of the Admin Assistant include:
- Answering incoming calls and handling general enquiries.
- Assisting with parent queries both in person and over the phone.
- Collaborating and liaising with school staff.
- Completing administrative tasks using various computer systems.
- Managing in-house financial processes, such as weekly dinner money payments and utilising SIMS.
Key Information:
- Start Date: Immediate/ASAP.
- Working Hours: full-time, Monday to Friday. (8.30am- 4pm)
- Contract: Weekly timesheet basis through Teaching Personnel, with the potential for long-term opportunities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
