HR and Administrative School Staff – Huddersfield

About the Roles:
Our client schools are looking for skilled HR and administrative professionals to ensure their offices and operations run efficiently. Whether you’re experienced in school administration or HR, we have opportunities that suit your skills and career goals.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Managing school correspondence, data entry, and document preparation.
- Overseeing HR tasks such as recruitment, compliance, and maintaining employee records.
- Acting as the first point of contact for parents, visitors, and external professionals in reception and administrative roles.
- Providing confidential and sensitive support in line with school safeguarding policies.
- Assisting with organising school events, managing schedules, and handling financial or payroll tasks where applicable.

About You:
We are looking for reliable and proactive HR and administrative professionals who thrive in a school environment. Experience in schools is desirable but not essential.
Key skills and experience:
- Previous experience in a relevant role (e.g., HR, administration, school office work).
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- The ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in sensitive situations.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and other administrative tools.
- Knowledge of school management systems (e.g., SIMS) is highly desirable but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
