Pay starting at £166.32 per day (dependent on experience)

Are you a passionate and adaptable teacher looking for a flexible role in Cardiff? Teaching Personnel, a leading education recruitment agency, is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated primary school teachers to provide ad-hoc cover across all age groups, from Early Years to Key Stage 2.

About the Role:

As an ad-hoc teacher, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of vibrant primary schools in Cardiff. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on variety, enjoys engaging with pupils of all ages, and is keen to make a positive impact in the classroom.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering engaging and well-prepared lessons across different age groups and subjects.
  • Adapting to new classroom environments and building rapport with pupils and staff.
  • Following school policies to maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
  • Providing continuity in the absence of permanent teaching staff.

What we need from you:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching in primary schools, with the confidence to teach across all age groups (EYFS to KS2).
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt quickly.
  • A genuine passion for education and supporting pupils’ learning journeys.
  • A current DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
  • Registration to the EWC (Education Workforce Council)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
