Transitioning to a 1:1 tutor role also gives you greater flexibility and work-life balance: less paperwork, control over your own schedule, and the ability to take on as much or as little work as you choose.

Starting from April/May 2025, we have a wide range of tuition opportunities available across Lytham (FY8). There's plenty of work available to build up to 5–6 hours of tuition per day, with pay ranging from £20–£30 per hour depending on experience and funding.

The role:

• Providing 1:1 support in core subjects (Maths, English or Primary)

• Planning individualised learning programmes

• Tutoring in the pupil’s home environment

• Supporting a range of ages and abilities

• Working with pupils who have SEN and SEMH needs

• Full-time and part-time hours available

• Ongoing, stable workload – many of our roles are long-term

What you'll need:

• QTS is desirable but not essential – equivalent teaching certification or TA/tuition experience is welcomed

• Experience with primary or secondary-aged children

• A friendly, enthusiastic, and engaging approach
