Job Title: 1:1 Tutor for Maths and English

Location: England, East of England, Cambridgeshire

Salary: £25.00 - £30.00 Per hour

Job Description

Job Duties:

  • Provide individualised instruction to students in Maths and English
  • Develop tailored lesson plans to meet the specific needs of each student
  • Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
  • Support and motivate students to achieve academic success
  • Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding student progress

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Demonstrated expertise in Maths and English subjects
  • Experience in tutoring or teaching individuals

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of teaching or tutoring experience

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for Maths and English
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning styles
  • Patience and empathy in working with students

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Experience working with students with special educational needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
