Job Advertisement: SEN Teaching Assistant Roles (SEMH) – Full-Time

Are you passionate about supporting vulnerable students and helping them achieve their full potential? Multiple SEN schools and alternative provisions in the Wirral are seeking dedicated, full-time SEN Teaching Assistants with experience working with students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

About the Role:

These roles involve working closely with students who require additional support to thrive academically and socially. Successful candidates will:

  • Provide tailored assistance to students with SEMH and other Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • Utilize their knowledge of SEN and strategies for managing challenging behavior effectively.
  • Build trusting relationships with students to foster engagement, participation, and a love for learning.
  • Support students in developing the confidence and skills needed to succeed.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
