1:1 Primary Tutor

Location: Retford

About Us:
We are looking for a passionate and skilled 1:1 Primary Tutor to join our team. If you have a strong understanding of the primary curriculum and a talent for working closely with children to unlock their potential, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored, one-on-one tutoring sessions for primary school children, focusing on English, Maths, and other subjects as required.

  • Develop personalised lesson plans that suit the individual learning needs of each student.

  • Build positive and supportive relationships with students to help boost their confidence and academic progress.

  • Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching methods to ensure success.

  • Foster a positive, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Qualified teacher status (QTS) or relevant teaching/tutoring qualifications.

  • Proven experience in teaching or tutoring primary-aged students.

  • Strong knowledge of the UK primary curriculum.

  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help children succeed.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
