1:1 Maths Tutor
Location: NG10 and surrounding areas

About the Role:
We are looking for a committed and knowledgeable 1:1 Maths Tutor to join our team, delivering personalised support to students across a range of ages and abilities. Whether preparing learners for their exams, helping to close gaps in understanding, or boosting confidence in numeracy, your role will be key in supporting their progress and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging one-to-one Maths tutoring sessions

  • Support students in understanding key mathematical concepts from primary through to GCSE (or higher, if applicable)

  • Adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning needs and styles

  • Track student progress and adjust lesson plans accordingly

  • Provide regular feedback

  • Maintain clear and organised records of sessions and learner development

About You:

  • A strong academic background in Mathematics or a related subject

  • Previous tutoring or teaching experience

  • A passion for Maths and for helping students to achieve their potential

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Patience, reliability, and a positive, encouraging approach

  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
