1:1 English Tutor (Perfect for Former Teachers)
Location: Nottingham (NG5)

We’re seeking experienced, caring, and committed individuals to join our team as 1:1 English Tutors. This role is ideal for ex-teachers who want to continue inspiring young minds while enjoying a better work-life balance.
What You'll Do:

Deliver engaging, tailored English tuition on a 1:1 basis

Support learners across KS1, KS2, KS3 and/or GCSE levels (age group flexible depending on your experience)

Help build students' confidence and skills in reading, writing, and literacy

Create a positive, supportive learning environment

Work flexibly around your schedule
✅ What We're Looking For:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS)
-
Strong relevant experience

Sound knowledge of the UK English curriculum

Excellent communication and rapport-building skills

A warm, patient and encouraging approach

A valid DBS (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
