Are you a passionate and resilient Youth Worker looking to make a real difference in the lives of young people? We are working with a fantastic Alternative Provision school based in Liverpool that is seeking a dedicated full-time Youth Worker to support their students both emotionally and academically.

This is a rewarding opportunity to use your youth work experience to guide students who have struggled in mainstream education. You’ll play a vital role in helping them reach their full potential by offering consistent support, building trust, and breaking down barriers to learning.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Have experience working with young people with challenging behaviour

• Be familiar with trauma-informed practice and understand the impact of adverse childhood experiences

• Be enthusiastic, proactive, and able to use their initiative effectively

• Work well under pressure and remain calm and supportive in high-stress situations

• Be committed to building strong relationships with students and staff to foster a safe, nurturing environment

In This Role, You Will:

• Support students on a one-to-one and small group basis, both in and out of the classroom

• Help manage behaviour in a calm and consistent way

• Act as a positive role model, promoting emotional wellbeing and resilience

• Assist in delivering activities and interventions designed to re-engage students in their education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
