Job Title: Year 6 Teacher

Job Duties:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons for Year 6 students
  • Assess and evaluate students' progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support students' development
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching in a primary school setting
  • Knowledge of the UK national curriculum for Year 6
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a primary school

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Effective classroom management techniques
  • Differentiated instruction strategies
  • Assessment and feedback methods
  • IT proficiency for educational purposes

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Experience working with diverse student populations

Working Conditions:

The role involves working in a primary school setting, following school hours and term dates. It may require participation in extracurricular activities and occasional evening events.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
