Full-Time Year 5 1:1 Teaching Assistant – Primary School in Burnley

Are you a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role? Do you have experience supporting children with additional needs? If so, we want to hear from you.

We are seeking a full-time Year 5 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Burnley. This role involves providing dedicated support to a child with additional needs, helping them to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Experience as a Teaching Assistant, Support Worker, or working with individuals with additional needs
  • A relevant qualification (such as Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, Health & Social Care, or equivalent)
  • Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills
  • The ability to build positive relationships and adapt to the child’s individual learning style
  • A commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
