Year 5 Primary Teacher – Market Harborough
Full-Time | Temporary (with potential extension) | April Start
Are you a committed and dedicated Primary Teacher seeking an exciting new role? We are looking for a fully qualified Year 5 Teacher to join our welcoming and supportive primary school in Market Harborough. About the Role:

Position: Year 5 Class Teacher

Location: Market Harborough

Contract: Full-time, Temporary (initially until May half-term, with likely extension until the end of the academic year)

Start Date: After the Easter break 2024

Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)

Hours: 8:20 AM – 3:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the curriculum

Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages learning and growth

Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback

Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to support student development

Maintain high expectations of behaviour and achievement
What We Are Looking For:
-
A fully qualified Primary Teacher (QTS essential)
-
Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally in Year 5
-
A creative and engaging approach to teaching
-
Strong classroom management skills with a focus on positive behaviour strategies
-
A commitment to nurturing, inspiring, and supporting young learners
