Year 5 Teacher – Long-Term Role
Location: Gorton, Manchester
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Long-term, Full-time - starting ASAP 

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Year 5 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Gorton on a long-term basis. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact in a supportive school environment.

The Role:

  • Delivering high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Establishing a positive and engaging classroom environment
  • Demonstrating strong behaviour management skills to support and guide pupils effectively
  • Working collaboratively with staff, parents, and the wider school community
  • Assessing and tracking student progress to ensure all pupils reach their full potential

The Ideal Candidate:

✅ Fully qualified teacher (QTS required)
✅ Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, preferably Year 5
✅ Confident in implementing effective behaviour management strategies
✅ Passionate about fostering a love of learning in children
✅ A team player with strong communication skills
