Location: BS10 (Bristol)
Contract: Full Time, Immediate Start (until the end of the academic year)

Job Description:
We are working with a vibrant primary school in the BS10 area, seeking a dedicated Year 4 Class Teacher for an immediate start. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to make a positive impact on children’s education until the end of the academic year. As a Year 4 teacher, you will have the opportunity to teach and inspire a dynamic group of students in an inclusive, supportive school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons for a Year 4 class, ensuring a broad and balanced curriculum.
  • Provide a safe, stimulating, and supportive learning environment for all students.
  • Monitor and track student progress, identifying areas for improvement and tailoring lessons to meet individual learning needs.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, promoting their academic, emotional, and social development.
  • Collaborate with teaching assistants and fellow teachers to ensure effective teaching and learning.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, providing regular feedback on progress.
  • Adhere to school policies and procedures, including those for safeguarding, health and safety, and behaviour management.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Proven experience teaching Year 4 or other Key Stage 2 classes.
  • A creative and dynamic approach to lesson planning and delivery.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A passion for teaching and a commitment to creating an inclusive learning environment.
  • Strong classroom management skills and a proactive approach to student engagement.
  • Knowledge of the primary curriculum and the ability to tailor lessons to meet the needs of all learners.
