Teaching Personnel is seeking a confident and experienced Year 4 teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Sunderland after Easter to cover a maternity leave. The school is keen to find a dedicated professional who can seamlessly take over the class and maintain the high standards of teaching and learning.
About the Role:
- Full-time Year 4 Teacher role covering maternity leave
- 22 pupils in the class, with a Teaching Assistant supporting SEN needs
- No challenging behaviour, but a strong classroom presence is essential
- A trial day will be arranged before Easter for the selected candidate
- A full handover will be provided to ensure a smooth transition
- The role will continue into the new academic year (September start)

✔ Experienced primary teacher (ideally KS2) with strong subject knowledge
✔ Confidence in leading a class independently and maintaining continuity
✔ Passionate and dedicated to delivering high-quality teaching
