Job Duties:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons for Year 4/5 students
  • Evaluate and assess student progress to provide feedback and support
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Year 4/5 students
  • Knowledge of the UK National Curriculum

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a similar role

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to differentiate instruction based on student needs
  • Proficient in using educational technology

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Experience working with diverse student populations

Working Conditions:

This role involves working in a school setting with regular school hours. Some additional hours may be required for planning and assessment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
