Position: Year 4/5 Teacher
Location: DT9, Sherborne
Start Date: 22nd April 2025
Contract Type: Temporary
Role Overview:
We are looking for a passionate and skilled teacher to deliver high-quality lessons to our Year 4 and Year 5 students. This temporary role will require planning, preparation, and delivering engaging lessons in line with the curriculum, as well as assessing and providing feedback on student progress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver lessons for Year 4 and Year 5 students in accordance with the national curriculum.
- Provide a supportive and engaging classroom environment for all students.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a consistent and high-quality educational experience.
- Participate in school meetings and any relevant staff development opportunities.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Year 4/5 students is highly desirable.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- A passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
- Ability to plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be able to provide 2 references
