Year 3 Primary Teacher

Location: Chorley, Lancashire.

Position: Year 3 Primary Teacher.

Start Date: September 2024.

Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated educator with a passion for inspiring young minds? We are seeking a committed and dynamic Year 3 Primary Teacher to join our welcoming primary school community in Chorley.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and stimulating lessons that cater to the diverse needs of Year 3 pupils.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all children feel valued and supported.
  • Assess and monitor pupils’ progress, providing constructive feedback and setting achievable targets.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers, keeping them informed of their child’s progress and well-being.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant teaching qualification.
  • Proven experience teaching in primary education, ideally within Key Stage 2.
  • Strong understanding of the Year 3 curriculum and effective teaching practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate children to achieve their full potential.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
