Year 3/4 Primary Teacher

Small Church of England school based in the Nelson area (BB9).

Contract dates: Full-time, long-term position available: September 2022 – April 2023

Pay: £100-140 per day (dependant on experience)


Details of the role
Teaching personnel are seeking an experienced teacher willing to join a supportive team who will endeavour to make learning an exciting adventure for all children. You must be a well organised, efficient and reflective practitioner with high expectations of child development, learning and behaviour. You must also be able to plan and deliver a creative curriculum, create a purposeful and stimulating learning environment and form good relationships with children, parents/carers and staff. As a Church of England school, the headteacher would love someone to join their team who will be dedicated to aspire children to achieve their highest potential whilst embedding Christian values.

The successful candidate will:

-          Plan and deliver a range of impactful lessons

-          Possess excellent understanding of the KS2 National Curriculum and child development.

-          Engage with Teaching Assistants and ensure they are utilised effectively within the classroom to maximise attainment.

-          Share and support the school ethos

-          Have a sound understanding of Christian values

-          Liaise closely with the Head Teacher and report any concerns.

-          Follow all school policies

-          Demonstrate professionalism and enthusiasm towards creating a learning environment allowing children the opportunity to be the best they can be.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
