We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 2 Teacher to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is committed to helping young children develop both academically and personally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the UK curriculum.
- Foster a positive and supportive classroom environment that promotes the development of social, emotional, and academic skills.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support where needed.
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and other staff members to ensure all students receive a high standard of education.
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers to keep them informed of their child's progress and development.
- Participate in school activities, events, and professional development opportunities.
Key Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching in a primary school setting.
- A passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Knowledge of the Year 2 curriculum and assessment procedures.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
