Job Title: Year 1 Teacher

£120.00 - £180.00 Per day
Job Duties:
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons for Year 1 students
- Assess and monitor student progress to ensure learning objectives are met
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching in a primary school setting
- Knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for Year 1
- Strong communication and organisational skills
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a primary school
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of child development and effective teaching strategies
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
- Proficiency in classroom management techniques
- ICT skills for integrating technology into lessons
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional training in Special Education or Early Years Education
- Experience working with EAL (English as an Additional Language) students
- Experience with assessment and data analysis to inform teaching practise
Working Conditions:
The role involves working in a classroom setting with Year 1 students, following the school calendar and daily schedule. Occasional participation in school events and meetings may be required.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
