Year 1 Class Teacher – Southport (Catholic Primary School)
Through Teaching Personnel
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-time, fixed-term (1 year)
Location: Southport
Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)
A well-established Catholic primary school in Southport is working in partnership with Teaching Personnel to recruit a dedicated Year 1 Class Teacher to join their team from September 2025. The ideal candidate will:

Be a qualified primary teacher (QTS essential), ideally with experience in Key Stage 1

Demonstrate high expectations for both behaviour and learning

Embrace the ethos and values of a faith-based school

Be able to plan, deliver and assess engaging lessons tailored to pupils’ needs

Communicate effectively with colleagues, pupils, and families

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
