Position: Full-Time KS1 Teacher

Salary: Competitive, based on experience

Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic KS1 Teacher seeking a new opportunity? Our client, a vibrant and inclusive school in Hackney, is looking for a Full-Time KS1 Teacher to join their team and contribute to the educational success of their Key Stage 1 students.

Role Overview:

As a Full-Time KS1 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to students in Key Stage 1. Your role will involve planning and delivering lessons that meet the needs of all students, assessing their progress, and creating a stimulating and supportive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons across the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student learning and development.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to both students and parents, and adapting teaching methods as necessary.
  • Foster students' social, emotional, and academic growth through a range of teaching strategies and interventions.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective planning and delivery of the curriculum.
  • Participate in school activities and professional development opportunities to enhance your teaching practice.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree.
  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 1, with a strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and assessment methods.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Creative, organized, and enthusiastic about teaching and learning.
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Strong team player with a proactive approach to teaching and problem-solving.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
