Are you an experienced and confident teacher with a passion for working with Key Stage 1 children? Our welcoming and vibrant primary school in Blackburn is seeking a dedicated Key Stage 1 Teacher to join our team full-time starting in January.

The Role
As a Key Stage 1 Teacher, you will:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum for Key Stage 1.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all children feel valued and encouraged.
- Assess, monitor, and record pupil progress, providing tailored support to meet individual needs.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.
- Contribute to the wider school community, participating in events and initiatives.
- Maintain high standards of behaviour management and pupil engagement.
About You
We are looking for a teacher who is:
- Fully qualified with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
- Confident and experienced in teaching Key Stage 1 pupils.
- Passionate about supporting children’s learning and development.
- Skilled in creating engaging, creative, and differentiated lessons to meet a range of abilities.
- A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Committed to upholding the school’s values and ethos.
Essential Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience teaching Key Stage 1 is desirable but not essential.
- Proven ability to plan and deliver lessons that inspire and engage young learners.
- A strong understanding of assessment frameworks and strategies for pupil progress.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
