Job Title: Y2 Teaching Assistant - Chorley

£13.75 - £14.00 Per hour
Job Description:
Job Duties:
- Supporting the Year 2 teacher in delivering lessons and activities
- Assisting with the preparation of classroom materials
- Working with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning concepts
- Supervising students during class and break times
- Providing feedback to the teacher on student progress
Required Qualifications:
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
- Relevant Teaching Assistant qualification
- Enhanced DBS check
Education:
Secondary education level or higher
Experience:
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting
- Experience supporting children with varying learning abilities
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of the primary school curriculum
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Basic IT skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- First Aid certification
- Additional relevant training or qualifications
Working Conditions:
- Working hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday
- Temporary position with the possibility of extension
- Classroom-based role with some outdoor supervision duties

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
