Are you passionate about the Welsh language and helping young learners thrive in a bilingual environment? Teaching Personnel are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Fluent Welsh Teaching Assistants to support our students in both Welsh and English across the curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the class teacher in delivering lessons in Welsh, supporting students with their Welsh language development.
• Help students with individual or group work, ensuring they fully engage in the learning process.
• Provide language support to students who may require additional help with Welsh language skills.
• Encourage the use of Welsh in everyday activities, fostering a bilingual environment.
• Assist in the preparation of teaching materials and resources.
• Support the pastoral needs of students, ensuring they feel safe, valued, and motivated.
• Work closely with staff to track students' progress and implement strategies for improvement.

Key Requirements:

• Fluent in Welsh (both spoken and written).
• Experience working with children, ideally in a school or educational setting.
• A passion for the Welsh language and culture, with a commitment to promoting bilingualism.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage and support students.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team of teachers and other teaching assistants.
• Flexibility, patience, and a positive, proactive attitude.
• A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification) would be an advantage, but not essential.
