Welsh-Speaking Unqualified Teachers – £115 per Day

Location: Across South Wales
Start Date: ASAP or September 2025
Contract: Full-time & flexible options available
Pay: £115 per day

Are you a final-year education student or an aspiring teacher who speaks Welsh and wants valuable classroom experience before gaining QTS?

At Teaching Personnel, we’re looking for fluent Welsh speakers who are ready to step into the classroom as unqualified teachers, delivering pre-planned lessons, supporting pupils, and gaining hands-on experience while earning £115 per day.

This is a fantastic opportunity to build your confidence, strengthen your CV, and work within Welsh-medium schools across South Wales.


About the Role:

  • Deliver lessons to primary or secondary pupils (plans and resources provided)

  • Manage behaviour in the classroom with confidence and care

  • Build strong relationships with staff and students

  • Gain experience that supports your journey towards QTS

  • Opportunities in both mainstream and SEN settings


✅ We’re Looking For:

  • Fluent Welsh speakers (essential)

  • Final-year education students or those planning to start a PGCE

  • Confident communicators and natural leaders

  • Individuals with a passion for education and supporting young learners

  • Willingness to travel within your local area

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
