Job Description:
Are you a Welsh speaker based in or around Pontypool? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you! Teaching Personnel is looking for a passionate and driven Teaching Assistant to support secondary school students in Pontypool and surrounding areas. No prior experience is necessary – full training and support will be provided on the job.
This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for education, resilience in supporting students, and a desire to help create a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Adhere to the school’s safeguarding policies to ensure the safety of all students.

Foster a positive learning atmosphere that supports student growth.

Show flexibility in adapting to the diverse needs of students.

Assist teachers and staff with daily tasks and educational activities.
-
Build strong, trusting relationships with students and their families.

Welsh language skills (essential).

Level 2 Safeguarding (provided by Teaching Personnel).
