Are you an experienced Urdu teacher with a passion for sharing your knowledge and expertise with students? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! Teaching Personnel are working with an Ofsted-Outstanding Secondary School in Preston that is seeking a part-time (19.5 hrs/week), permanent Urdu teacher to join their team from September. This Outstanding school is a Muslim faith-based Secondary school for 11 to 18 year old boys.
As an Urdu teacher at this highly successful and supportive school, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality Urdu lessons to students of all abilities. You will be expected to inspire and motivate students, whilst ensuring that they make excellent progress and achieve their full potential.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Planning and delivering engaging and challenging Urdu lessons to students of all abilities.
- Assessing and tracking student progress and providing regular feedback to students and parents.
- Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of individual students, ensuring that all students are able to make excellent progress.
- Creating a positive learning environment where students feel safe, supported and challenged.
- Contributing to the wider life of the school, including extra-curricular activities and events.
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience teaching Urdu.
- Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for Urdu.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- A commitment to Continuous Professional Development.
- A willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
