A large comprehensive school in Bradford is seeking an excellent Teacher of Urdu to join their permanent staff list as soon as possible. The ideal candidate should be passionate about teaching, committed to student achievement, and possess excellent communication skills.
Role: Teacher of Urdu
Start: September (sooner is desirable)
Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)
Area: Bradford
Timetable: Fulltime

Responsibilities of the Role:
**Teach Urdu language to students from diverse backgrounds and ability levels, ranging from beginner to advanced.
**Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that cater to the needs and interests of individual students.
**Assess student progress regularly through a variety of assessment methods and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
**Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
**Contribute to the development of the Urdu curriculum, as well as other aspects of school life such as extracurricular activities and events.
**Participate in school-wide initiatives, meetings, and professional development opportunities to continuously improve teaching practices.
Qualifications and Requirements:
**A relevant degree or qualification in Urdu language or literature.
**Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
**Right to work in UK.
**Proven track record of effective teaching and student achievement.
**Knowledge and understanding of the UK National Curriculum and assessment frameworks.
**Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
