Unqualified Teaching Assistant South Norfolk
Do you have experience providing support to SEN learners across both primary and secondary education?
Have you worked with children with Additional Learning Needs in specialised settings?
Are you interested in working in a school dedicated to supporting pupils diagnosed with Autism?
Our specialist SEN branch in Norwich is seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to work with pupils who have Autism in the South Norfolk region.
As a Teaching Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing close support to pupils with Autism and managing challenging behaviour
- Delivering tailored interventions
- Adapting lessons to meet the specific needs of students
- Contributing to improvements in behaviour, attitudes, and personal development
- Working in alignment with Educational Health Care Plans (EHCPs)
The ideal candidate will be:
- Adaptable and flexible in various work situations
- Compassionate and understanding
- Capable of handling a challenging work environment
- Confident in managing difficult behaviour
- Eager to complete any necessary training and professional development for the role

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
