Unqualified Teaching Assistant
Job description
Do you have a nurturing and compassionate nature? Can you connect with and mentor young people in need of guidance? Teaching Personnel are seeking individuals with experience in supporting children and young people who face emotional regulation challenges and have often endured trauma.
As a Teaching Assistant, your role will extend beyond academic support. You will build strong relationships with students, helping them understand and manage their emotions through effective communication. The school offers a unique approach, focusing on both academic subjects like Maths and English, and practical life skills, including cooking and mechanics as they have their on-site garage!
About the role:
- Small class sizes of 8-10 pupils, creating strong relationships with the students
- No prior teaching qualifications/ experience in the classroom, but has experience with challenging behaviour.
- Monday- Friday (08:30-3:30). Flexible work available, work fits into your life which creates a healthy work/life balance
- £84/ day and paid weekly, on site car parking and accessible route
- The potential of a contract with the school to the success candidate

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
