Role: Unqualified Teacher/Cover Supervisor
Location: Various Secondary Schools in South Manchester
Type: Supply Basis (Flexible, Short-Term and Long-Term Opportunities)
Salary: Competitive daily rate (based on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage classes in the absence of a class teacher, ensuring students remain on task and follow the set work.
- Support students in their learning and development, providing assistance when needed.
- Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment by promoting good behaviour and discipline.
- Manage classroom resources and ensure all students have the necessary materials.
- Support students with special educational needs as required.
- Follow the school’s policies and procedures to ensure a safe and effective learning environment.
Ideal Candidate:
- A passion for education and a desire to work with young people.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively.
- Ability to follow instructions and adapt quickly to different teaching environments.
- A flexible and positive attitude towards work.
- Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential.
