Job description

Position: Graduate Science Teacher

Location: Northampton

Have you recently graduated from university and have a passion for Science, and wish to acquire invaluable classroom experience within a classroom environment?

Perhaps you have explored a potential career in education, but would first like to take a ‘softer’ approach prior to committing?

As a Graduate Teacher, you have the incredible opportunity to mould the minds of tomorrow through working in a classroom environment part of the Science department. You would be an integral part of the staffing network and support students whilst being offered comprehensive training, ongoing support, and a chance to be part of a dynamic community that shares your passion for education.

The successful candidate’s will be responsible for delivering, innovative and exciting lessons to keep the students, engaged, and understanding of the curriculum. You may also be required to do some planning and marking depending on the school, so it is important for you to have experience teaching the subject, and good knowledge of the subject.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Science or a related field
  • A passion for teaching and genuine interest in nurturing young minds
  • Strong communication skills
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new teaching methodologies
  • Full time availability
  • Full UK drivers licence

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
