Job Title: Tutor with SEN Experience

Salary:

£20 - £30 Per hour

Job Duties:

• Provide individualised academic support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
• Develop and implement tailored learning plans to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities
• Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure holistic support for students
• Utilise a variety of teaching strategies and resources to engage students and enhance their learning experience

Required Qualifications:

• Relevant qualification in Education or Special Educational Needs
• Experience working with students with SEN
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt teaching techniques to meet individual student needs

Education:

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

Prior experience working with students with SEN

Knowledge and Skills:

• Understanding of SEN requirements and best practises
• Ability to create and deliver personalised learning plans
• Effective classroom management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs
• Experience in conducting assessments and creating Individual Education Plans (IEPs)

Working Conditions:

• Part-time hours with flexibility in scheduling
• Work primarily in an educational setting
• Collaborative work environment with teachers, parents, and support staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
