Job Title: Tutor with SEN Experience

Temporary, Part-Time hours
Salary:
£20 - £30 Per hour
Job Duties:
- Provide individualised academic support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Develop and implement tailored learning plans to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities
- Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure holistic support for students
- Utilise a variety of teaching strategies and resources to engage students and enhance their learning experience
Required Qualifications:
- Relevant qualification in Education or Special Educational Needs
- Experience working with students with SEN
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching techniques to meet individual student needs
Education:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience:
Prior experience working with students with SEN
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of SEN requirements and best practises
- Ability to create and deliver personalised learning plans
- Effective classroom management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs
- Experience in conducting assessments and creating Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
Working Conditions:
- Part-time hours with flexibility in scheduling
- Work primarily in an educational setting
- Collaborative work environment with teachers, parents, and support staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
