Salary: The full-time salary for this role ranges from £31,650 to £43,607 per year, with part-time pay calculated on a pro-rata basis, ensuring fair compensation for your hours worked.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Temporary Secondary Teacher to join a specialist SEN school in Somerset. This inclusive and welcoming school caters to students aged 11-19, providing a structured, nurturing, and engaging environment for learners with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD), Severe Learning Disabilities (SLD), Moderate Learning Disabilities (MLD), Autism, and associated visual and complex needs.

The Ideal Candidate

• A qualified Secondary or FE Teacher, experienced in or passionate about working with students with PMLD, SLD, MLD, Autism, and complex needs.

• Patient, adaptable, and compassionate, with a commitment to supporting students with diverse learning needs.

• Skilled in delivering differentiated and engaging lessons, tailored to individual student abilities.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with support staff, therapists, and families.

• Dedicated to creating a safe, inclusive, and enriching learning environment.
