An ambitious and forward-thinking secondary school and sixth form in Braintree, Essex, is seeking an enthusiastic Technology Teacher (ECT) to join their dedicated staff team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an Early Career Teacher looking to develop their skills in a supportive and well-resourced environment.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will:
Teach Technology across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential opportunities at Key Stage 5.
Deliver engaging, practical, and theory-based lessons that inspire and challenge students.
Contribute to the development of an innovative and dynamic curriculum.
Participate in extracurricular activities and enrichment programmes.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high teaching standards and student outcomes.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be working towards it as an ECT.
*Have a strong subject knowledge in Design & Technology or a related discipline.
* Demonstrate a passion for teaching and a commitment to high standards.
* Be eager to contribute to a supportive and inclusive school community.
*Have excellent communication and classroom management skills.

Salary: MPS/UPS, Dependent on experience

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
