Teaching Assistant – Oldham

Are you a qualified Teacher assistant, looking for a new role from the start of February?

Are you looking to work within a mainstream primary school on a full-time / part-time basis?

If the above applies to you, Teaching Personnel currently have multiple opportunities working with our partner schools which across Greater Manchester supporting the need of ad-hoc supply for both in advance and morning sickness calls. 

The school is rated “Good” in their OFSTED report and demonstrates high quality in core subjects such as Maths and English, the teachers have strong subject knowledge structure learning well.

Job requirements 
- Experience working in a primary school 
- Level 2 qualified (NVQ / CACHE desirable other qualifications can be applicable)
- DBS registered 
- Good literacy / Numeracy skills 
- Frist aid trained 

Job Responsibilities 
- Prepare the classroom for lessons / maintain a safe environment 
- Assist with teachers preparation to learning plans and specific school equipment 
- Oversee students reports and individual learning plans 
- Keep students focused on specific tasks 
-Helping pupils stay focused during class hours
- Manage student behaviour

-Primary schools located in and around your local area, easily accessible via public transport and with on-site parking.

We try to guarantee work to be close to your area of living or within reasonable travel time to fit your travel requirements. The work can vary between 1-5 days this will also depend on your availability.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
